At Legacy Mountain Dogs, the comfort and safety of our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies is always our top priority. We understand that bringing your new puppy home is an exciting moment, and we work hard to ensure the process is smooth, safe, and as stress free as possible for both the puppy and your family. We offer several options for bringing your puppy home, including in-person pickup, delivery by carefully selected transport drivers, and flight nanny services. Our goal is to make it possible for families anywhere in the lower 48 United States to welcome one of our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies into their home.

Ground Transport

One of the most common delivery options is transportation through one of our carefully selected ground transport drivers. These drivers specialize in transporting puppies and have experience ensuring animals are handled safely throughout the trip. Ground delivery allows puppies to travel in a controlled environment where they receive regular breaks, care, and attention along the way. We work only with transport professionals that we trust to provide safe, compassionate care during the journey.

Flight Nanny

For families located farther away, a flight nanny service may also be available. With this option, a trained flight nanny personally escorts your puppy on a commercial flight and stays with the puppy throughout the entire journey. Your puppy travels safely in the cabin and is cared for the entire time. Once the flight arrives, the flight nanny meets you at the airport and personally delivers your puppy into your hands. This option is often preferred for longer distances because it allows the puppy to travel quickly and comfortably.

In-Person Pickup

Families are always welcome to pick up their puppy in person at our nursery located in Sullivan, Illinois. Many families enjoy visiting and personally bringing their puppy home. Pickup allows you to meet us, see where the puppies are raised, and experience the environment where your Bernese Mountain Dog began their life. We are happy to coordinate pickup times that work best for both the family and the puppy.

By discussing delivery ahead of time, we can provide you with the exact delivery cost so you know the total balance for your puppy before placing your deposit. This helps ensure there are no surprises and allows families to plan accordingly.
