At Legacy Mountain Dogs, we have created a simple and clear process to help families reserve their Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. Because our puppies are in high demand, we recommend beginning the reservation process early. Our goal is to make the process easy to understand while ensuring each puppy is placed with a loving and prepared family. Below are the steps for reserving your puppy and completing the payment process.
How to Reserve Your Bernese Mountain Dog Puppy
Step 1 — Complete the Puppy Application
The first step is to apply for your puppy by filling out the Puppy Application on our website. This allows us to learn more about you, your home, and what you are looking for in a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. We carefully review each application because we want to make sure our puppies are going to families who are prepared for the responsibility of raising this wonderful breed. Once we receive your application we will contact you to discuss the litter you are interested in and answer any questions you may have.
Step 2 — Application Approval
After reviewing your application we will contact you to let you know if your application has been approved. At that time we will discuss available litters and help determine which litter may be the best fit for your family. Our goal is to match each puppy with the right home so both the puppy and the family have the best possible experience.
Step 3 — Reserve Your Puppy with a Deposit
Once your application has been approved and you have chosen the litter you would like to reserve from the next step is placing your deposit. The deposit to reserve a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy is $200. Deposits can be easily submitted through the Pay Your Deposit button located at the bottom of our website. Once your deposit is received your place on the reservation list for that litter is secured. Because the Bernese Mountain Dog breed is very popular reserving your puppy early helps ensure you have a place on the list.
Step 4 — Puppy Selection
When the puppies are old enough we will begin the puppy selection process. Families will be able to choose their puppy based on their place on the reservation list. Because we cannot control how many male or female puppies are born in a litter we always encourage families to be flexible with gender whenever possible. Being open to either a male or female puppy often allows families to move through the selection process more easily. Our goal is to help every family find a puppy that is a great match for their home.
Step 5 — Schedule Pickup or Delivery
Before making your final payment you must schedule either pickup or delivery for your puppy. This allows us to coordinate the timing and make sure everything is properly prepared for your puppy’s transition to their new home. We will work with you to determine the best option and timing for safely bringing your Bernese Mountain Dog puppy home.
Step 6 — Final Payment
Once pickup or delivery has been scheduled the remaining balance for your puppy can be completed. Final payments can be submitted through the Make Payment button located at the bottom of our website. This makes it simple and convenient for families to complete their payment. After final payment is received your puppy will be ready to join your family at the scheduled pickup or delivery time.
